In my costuming days, you had to perform a skit on stage and I did an entire bat’leth routine on stage and spoke Klingon in the days when no one spoke it. I had a friend who was starting up the Klingon Language Institute back east and he taught me how to speak the language. So, you can learn some good moves on your own. No manual comes with it.
A bat’leth? Steel, aluminum, rubber or wood? None of them are allowed at conventions unless you are appearing in the costume contest and only just then. I made my own. Most of the ones you buy are less curved and not like the one that Worf used to kill Duras. The points can not kill on an overhead swing down. They are more for thrusting and cutting.
Only one copy left on Amazon for $15. Two copies on ebay for about $20. Should you buy a copy and you send it to me with return postage, I will autograph it.
Thanks! I was an unpaid consultant to Paramount studios during ST:TNG and ran a Klingon fanclub for 12 years. I also designed the first Klingon text font for the computer and wrote a successful Klingon manual titled ‘Klingon Covert Operations Manual’.

video cams were very new then and quite expensive. Few, if any, had one. I eventually got one and it was so big, people that I was the news crew.
