PS: I promise to relinquish my geek card . . .

That’s helpful . . . I do see the resemblance and the panels now make sense. (I just have no knowledge of “The Last Unicorn” by Peter Beagle.)

Did Mr. Deering and Mr. Newcombe really misspell “politics” in the first panel? Nonetheless, excellent commentary today!

    1) Toni keeping her name is totally in keeping with her character . . . 2) TJ’s toast hearkens back to Toni’s tumultuous relationship with The Beefcake. Toni’s an incredibly strong woman! (See comment 1.)

I’m usually a fan, but this one is not funny.

“Expresso”??? Seriously? I know it’s a “classic” strip, but surely editors can correct errors of usage, right? Still, love The Norm . . . he’s cool.

    Mr. Grumbine, you’re AWESOME!

Hey Joe-Allen … Could you be a little less judgmental and just enjoy a great story arc here? Thanks.

Since I live just 4 miles south of the Indiana Toll Road, I stepped outside and waved this morning as I’m sure they were driving through South Bend. This arc is awesome! My brother and his partner were married in Iowa in March this year. Thanks John and L.A. for addressing this issue!
