    Since my Boy Scout days, I always liked the term “knapsack”, but now everyone calls them “backpacks”. I’ll bet my Millennial kids don’t even know what a knapsack is.

    I thought Northern Exposure was great, so when my kids were in med school, I bought them the first couple seasons on DVD. Being Millennials, they thought the pace was excruciatingly slow.

    No offense taken at all! I just still think it’s funny that all that religious ed never got through to my brain. I would love to see that test and all my wrong answers to see where my 13 yo brain was at at that time.

    “Fire roasted” sounds so much better than “burnt”. Kind of like sloppily preparing food, and calling it “artisan” so that it can be priced 20% higher.

    After 8 years of Catholic grade school and daily Mass and religion classes, we were given a capstone religion test at the end of 8th grade. I was an A/B student, but my parents were really mad when I got a D- on the religion test.
