What a long strange trip it’s been. Hey, that could be an acronym!

Our historic church has a bell on a rope. At an old friend’s funeral they asked me to toll it 83 times while he was being interred in his grave. I lost count after about 15 pulls.

Is that Lola from the Kinks song, fast forward 54 years?

  5. about 12 hours ago on La Cucaracha

My coworker sang at another coworker’s wedding. I was surprised to hear that her voice was like butterscotch.

Rerun comic. That’s OK, so are some of my comments lately.

“Three Chords and the Truth”, an oft-quoted phrase coined by Harlan Howard in the 1950s which he used to describe country music.

My wife and I worked hard at average white collar jobs, and never made six figures. My retirement portfolio has been strictly buy and hold, and I have made no further contributions to it since I retired 6 years ago. However, I did withdraw a large amount to remodel my house. In spite of that withdrawal, compared to 4 years ago, my portfolio has grown 27%.

    As usual, more Dad bashing.

Forgiving is much easier than forgetting.
