   I never compared Biden and Trump. If you want to discuss whether Biden’s boo boos are a result of a stammer, I’ll be glad to do so. I disagree.

   Mike Dukakis had the same lead at this point during his bid for President. And that’s when polls were more accurate. Trump supporters don’t always admit to people, even pollsters, who they’re supporting. This race is neck and neck.

   Yes, I’d be happy to have a legal discussion with you if not for the following: You appear to have little objective understanding of the law, appear to have your mind made up already and clearly have an agenda, not to mention that your sincerity has been further undermined by the fact that agreed (liked) the jacka$$ comment above from Baslim the Beggar. So, we’re done.

   I seriously doubt your insult was intended as humor. Now that you’ve tried to corner me in to a response on an issue and noted that you’ll assume I’m immoral if I don’t, I’m not compelled to believe there was anything but malice in your “humor” or your attempts to drag me in to a discussion where you somehow have determined you hold the moral high ground. How you’d get there can only be based on unfair assumptions. I have no interest in getting dragged in to discussions with strangers who seem highly inclined to act like you have. Go on and think I’m whatever you wish. Your opinion of me is irrelevant, as I’m sure mine of you is.

   Excuse me? You’re questioning my morals because I’m an attorney?

   I certainly made no reference to Flynn’s actions beyond what he was charged with by the DOJ. They have nothing to do with my comments regarding why the DOJ dropped the charges now. Am I supposed to address some aspect of the Flynn situation because you want me to do so? Insulting me seems like a great way to get that response.

   That’s not what he was charged with and not what I spoke of above. Ask yourself, why didn’t they charge him with “working for Turkey and Russia.”

   Gen. Flynn’s original counsel gave him bad advice and represented him poorly. Flynn pleaded guilty as part of a plea bargain that would do two things: put an end to the case, which had already ruined him financially, and give him a sentence with no prison time (even though they had no guarantee of the latter). His attorneys told him they did not believe they could either overturn the charges or win a trial. Additionally, the FBI also threatened to go after his son, who he was in business with. Rather than fight on and have his son dragged in, he took only path he could; plead guilty and get it over with.

   Whether you like Flynn or not, the case against him was bungled by hacks who we now know were motivated by reasons other than the law. Given the facts of the case and the recently released information, the DOJ got it right this time. Barr is far, far too smart to violate the law in the process of executing his duties. I can’t say the same for some of his predecessors. The armchair attorneys can cry treason all day, but they are only stating what they wish was true.

   Flynn was poorly represented and given bad advice originally. I have tremendous respect for Atty. Powell who has since represented Gen. Flynn. She reminds me of one of my mentors from early in my career working in a state AG’s office. I hope Atty. Powell isn’t done. She should press on until they make Gen Flynn whole again, plus damages.
