In the real world, not your imaginary one, the Trump administration proposed a 58 percent cut in the federal government’s COPS Hiring Program, a federal program that supports police department staffing. Republicans have routinely called for huge cuts to this program, which was inaugurated in the 1990s as part of Bill Clinton’s pledge to hire 100,000 new police officers (Congress keeps declining to do this).
Biden, OTOH, has proposed adding 300 million to the budget to put more cops on the streets.
In one short year, the Inflation Reduction Act has created an estimated 170,606 jobs, and 272 new clean energy projects have been announced. Millions of Medicare recipients are saving hundreds of dollars annually on prescriptions. Those are tangible effects based in empirical reality.
In contrast, all I hear from folks like you is excuses for trump’s fecklessness and incompetence.
Say what you will about Biden’s ‘marbles’, but he got significant legislation through congress. As opposed to trump, who promised the world and delivered nothing but resentment.
Republicans are also calling for defunding the FBI, so there’s that.
