Yeah, I was there much later (early 80s and again in in the 2009 and 2017), but I remember walking from the barracks to the “showers” and I swear I could feel the energy of all the souls that were there. There’s more to the story on the last visit but to say the least, it’s an emotionally powerful experience that will change one’s life. Peace be with you. I agree with you about the coming years here.
Visited Dachau when I lived in Germany and again on a couple of visits back there. Love Germany, especially in the south where I lived. EVERYONE should spend some time learning this part of history.
You’re wrong. Look it up. Miriam Webster, or others. The OED states, “In relation to a noun or pronoun which is grammatically singular, but refers collectively to the members of a group, or has universal reference (e.g. each person, everyone, nobody, etc.).” Goes all the way back to the 1300s.
I notice them all when I see them. Saddens me, especially those on the interstate where their crossings are blocked by concrete barriers in the middle or other places and they have no place to go.
Likewise. Doesn’t matter if you’re legal or not; if you don’t “look right” then you’re a target.
