We have serviceberry trees/bushes in NC but I’ve never seen serviceberry jam or jelly. According to a Penn State Extension article, “Serviceberry in the Garden and in the Kitchen,” serviceberries are seedy. The author cooks the pulp and puts it through a food mill to remove the seeds before using. I think I’d stick with blueberries!
