We used to have a weight watchers that sat between a chicken place and a burger place. I was like huh…well that will test to see how dedicated they are I guess.

My husband does things like this too. That’s the worst part about depression is sometimes you truly have no idea why you are sad you just are.

Oh Amanda you are my spirit animal lol. I was working in an office (I live in Canada) and someone exclaimed “Its snowing!” Like it was some kind of huge surprise. I replied. “Snow? On the east coast of Canada? In January?! unheard of!” They looked at me and said “You don’t have to be sarcastic you know?” I replied. “Have we met?”

The first time I heard of the show keeping up with the khardashians…I thought it was keeping up with the cardassians…imagine my disappointment when I found it was a reality show following around a bunch of vapid millionaires. I was hoping for maybe a Garak prequal or something as his time as a spy. Yes I am a nerd. (although admit it…people would watch that loyally lol)

I am way late to this party…but with my youngest step son…he used to go through his clothes and anything he did not want to wear he literally just tossed on the floor.(we had a separate wardrobe for him when he visited because it was easier than trying to rely on someone else to make sure he had clothes for the weekend.) So i was literally doing an entire load of clothes just for him on a weekend. So I finally got tired of that and said"if you can operate an X box and a computer you can operate a washer and dryer. You are doing your own laundry from now on." (he was about 11 at this point) He learned not to just toss all his clothes on the floor from then on when it became more work for him. Also we did not have to chase him to do it…we had a program we could shut off his computer remotely so he did not have much choice…his computer would stay off until he had the laundry going and then we would remind him to change it over. It got so he would do it on his own after a time with out us having to chase him.

As someone who works at a thrift store I assure you we try and put everything we can out. The things that don’t go out I promise you you don’t want them. Also you donate clothing to a charity…please for the love of god wash them first? Please…some of the bags we get (and we pay for like 98% of it) are absolutely disgusting.<—-stuff we do not put out. The workers (like me) at the sorting table will thank you for people are even nice enough to throw some dryer sheets in with the clothes and we love those lol.
I would vote for Llew…ya know if I was American and all. He can run for PM of Canada any time we could use a bit of zen in parliament.
