   Seems to work in Canada though. The problem is not drugs, it’s american people and companies. The country is addicted on legal opioids already which are much more lethal than marijuana, so if you intend to criminalize drug abuse, do it seriously, don’t be hypocrites.

   They usually use fascism for totalitarianism. And I think they do it on purpose as if it could lead to the conclusion that Hitler and Mussolini were left wing and that there is no right wing totalitarianism. There are enough left wing totalitarianism examples that one doesn’t need to misuse the right wing totalitarianisms. Fascism is right wing. They could use the recent enough and very clear example of the Khmers Rouge as a left wing totalitarist ideology which indeed had a lot of common points at the start with the attitude of some of the most hysterical and blind “woke” proponents who would certainly reach the same point if they were given a chance. But they aren’t and, just like in any circle, they are just a few extremists who, although very vocals, do not represent the majority, no matter what the anti woke right wingers claim (or wish). Unfortunately for them, there are no left wing fascists and, in the US, the only evidences of totalitarianism are on the right which, what a nice coincidence, does fit with the fascist definition.

   Well, actually, blame French and not the translator. The translation is alright but without context it does sound odd. Lancez-vous is appropriate for get started, and it would be fine and easy if it was applied to an activity or a business. “Get started in body building”, “lancez-vous dans la musculation”. So if context had been established before, like talking about starting a new life abroad, there would be no misunderstanding as to lancez-vous en France. But as a dry proposition like this, you can’t translate litterally. You’d have to say something closer to “start again”. like “Recommencez en France” “Commencez une nouvelle vie en France”. DawnQuinn1 is also right, it could be débutez en France but it does sound a bit weird also. Débutez en Français if it’s Make your first steps in French. Or Faites vos début en France is better than débutez en France, oddly. It’s nearly the same but it means more clearly you are coming to France for the first time with the intention to stay or come back or make it a habit.
