I live in the same rural area for nearly my entire life where I’m used to all kinds of weather, for better or for worse lol. Snow is obviously one of them but I remember one time two years ago, it snowed right in the middle of freaking April! It still baffles me to this day.

I bet that reunion went swell. I just recently reunited with my old classmates when two of our friends are getting married to each other. Btw, I’m 19, graduated from high school a year ago, so I didn’t exist yet when Garfield first appeared in 76 (“Jon” came out around two years before this comic strip series and shared the same characters and even the same creator as this strip)

I find it surreal and funny it’s now a meme

I didn’t even exist yet. I was born in 2004, over 25 years later.

When I was at school (I’m 19 and graduated from high school a year ago; been going to that particular school district for 12-14 years), they still taught us typing stuff and the positions of our fingers on the keyboard, that only goes all the way up to middle school though. I actually have a hard time doing that sort of thing because I usually prefer typing with both of my index fingers.

And no, I don’t think they do typing tests anymore, at least in my school anyways.

I turned 19 in April. Feels weird being an adult haha.

At least I’m not one of those kids who upgrades everything or gets the latest thing just to keep up. I prefer to stick with something until it finally stops working.

Even in my middle school days, I really don’t care about expensive stuff. I don’t even want flashy stuff like Rolexes (I can admire them but I generally prefer cheaper watch brands like Casio). My family is pretty frugal, especially myself, which is why i don’t have that “I want that brand because everyone in my school had one” mentality.

I do admit 60 bucks doesn’t sound THAT bad though. Yeah, I know it’s a lot but it doesn’t seem to break the bank to me.

Nope, I think it’s four year high school.
