a 9 foot tall lego slide would be approximately 286 bricks high, if Hammie used roof bricks it would be sort of smooth but the slide would be at a 45° angle. the base would be about 4,514 bricks in length using 1 × 2 × 4 bricks and to make a 2 foot wide slide he’ d need about 20 rows of bricks. the base of a slide would have to be somewhere around 90,280 bricks the whole slide would be about 13 million bricks if a solid structure,( about 15 minutes of legos daily production) less if using duplo for the bulk of the slide. a slide that size would cost around 1.3 million dollars. my figures are estimates done at four in the morning so take that as you will.

i don’t think the incident will garner trump any sympathy votes or give him a better chance of winning the election, sure it will be the news cycle for awhile but i don’t think it will persuade voters to vote for trump. It might affect voter turnout slightly but who knows which way, voters who voted against him last time will probably vote against him again.

the incident pushed the “project 2025” stuff out of the news cycle for a bit, but it will be back especially with younger voters, a block I don’t think would like there rights taken away.

Pulling a Putin, president 2 terms, secretary of state for a lackey, president 2 terms, secretary of state for a lackey, death, heir apparent, rinse and repeat. opposition outlawed. (Putin was prime minister from 1999 to 2000 and from 2008 to 2012, and as president from 2000 to 2008 and since 2012)

Or a republican controlled congress moves to change the constitution and remove term limit after removing supreme court judges they don’t like packing justice with conservatives.

Or upon winning an election just declaring himself president (king) for life, ending elections and and creating a monarchy like succession with his family. all opposition outlawed and congress, supreme court disbanded, constitution nullified. hostile takeover scenario.

i admit these are worst case scenario and far fetched, but would you put it past him?

Project 2025 and trumps agenda 47 are basically the same thing, trump rebranding Project 2025 and hoping people don’t realize they are both about consolidating power in the executive branch.

as for the “bloodless revolution” most citizens are not going to roll over and take it. A majority of Americans do not subscribe to the “conservative values” or ideas of a minority.

The thing is, he wasn’t president when the hush money stuff started, so he shouldn’t have immunity for those charges or anything he did before taking the oath of office.

There is a rising republican movement to defund libraries, ban books they don’t like and other nonsense. One argument is, “We have the internet, why do we have to waste money on libraries?”

The Missouri House tried to cut funding for public libraries by $4.5 million, The Missouri Senate later restored the funding. Other states, including Louisiana, Texas, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, and Florida have sought to ban books or eliminate public library funding.

I’ve said it before they should just re title this strip “Centerville” if they want to feature Funky Winkerbean type stories and cast and Crankshaft on Sundays as that seems like the only time Ed shows up. that’s basically how I view this strip anyway.

the republican party is grasping to stay relevant. I think they know they will be extinct soon as younger voters are not voting for them, the only area they seem to hold power is in state houses. as a national party, they are dying. I don’t call them “GOP” because that version of the party died decades ago.
