Cobra 1

My avatar is a photo of an AH-1F Cobra helicopter, of which I was a pilot. I am retired Army and have lived in many states and have visited all 50. In the words of Farmer's insurance, I know a few things because I've seen a few things.

I like the Brit shows, but I have to have captions. But then again, I always use captions for anything I watch anymore.

What really used to tic me off was when the drip coffee maker was brewing and coffee was pouring into the carafe, people would put their cups under the stream and fill their cups before the pot was filled. What they didn’t realize was the steam at the start of the brew was much stronger than the steam towards the end, so by taking a cup from the beginning would cause the rest of the pot to be just weak colored water.

When we put up a tree, the topper is a paper angel made by my daughter when she was about 3 with a photo of her face glued to the angel’s face.

The first panel is bogus. Santa has the most competent mechanics on the planet in his staff of elves.

Really?!! I thought everyone knew who Eddie was. So either, you ain’t from around here, or you ain’t old enough. Side note, after the guy who played Eddie left acting, he became a officer in the LAPD.

I have a friend who lets his beard grow long, and while it’s grayish white, he bleaches it to be totally white. He has a natural belly, and plays Santa all through December. This afternoon, he will be paraded through all the streets of our small town on the back of a fire truck, fire trucks and police cars, all lights flashing and sirens screaming.
