Love my wife dearly but she’s the worst gift giver, lol. She thinks she’s really good so she doesn’t want any hints from me. I have become an Academy Award caliber actor opening presents because I know how much she enjoys getting me the perfect gift. To me, the enjoyment she gets watching me open it is better then any gift she could get for me.
Years back when we adopted out first rescue dog we met them at a pet store event to finalize the process. The rescue volunteers were very busy so I carried the puppy around the store while they got settled. I remarked to the woman how quiet he was she looked over the top of her glasses and smiled. We found out why when we got home. That quiet puppy in the store became a loud, proud barking machine, lol. We had him for 16 years and we would give anything to get 16 more.
To all the veterans past or present, you are appreciated and respected for your willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good, not only today but everyday.
Calling a teacher who gives detention a bully and claiming it will ruin a student’s year is ridiculous. They are there to teach,personal discipline and responsibility being part of it. Detention was Heart’s choice so don’t blame the teacher. Giving a student detention for not wanting to do their assignment is reasonable especially when it’s the student’s choice instead of doing the assignment.
Trump and the Republicans have been after Social Security and Medicaid for years, not Harris and the Democrats. Trump, not Harris called wounded veterans and POW losers. I know it’s too late for this election but I encourage you to reach out to that old friend you have ignored for so long, reality so you don’t fall into the trap of delusion created by another politician like Trump.
