   Respectfully, that’s from Boatright dissent against the majority opinion. But Trump had a trial and was found guilty, and it was Republicans who asked for the trial, and asked that he be found guilty.

   The SCOTUS will have to reconcile the differing state laws, and they may hold that each state can make its own laws, much like they did with abortion, or even how Utah is allowed to ban booze.

   Respectfully, it was heard in court. Please read the Colorado Supreme Court ruling, Page 7, Trump WAS tried by a Colorado Distict Court and found guilty of insurrection.
