   The GOP is squirming now that Biden is no longer running. They can’t attack Harris on her age and she’s far more experienced in government at all levels than Trump. They try to attack her on her laugh but at least she laughs. Trump never does. He has that permanent scowl like he’s constipated.

   I’m 77. I was thinking about all the things we takr for granted now that didn’t exist when I was born.

   Jet planes weren’t even used by the military yet. Commercial jets didn’t start appearing until I was in my early teens. TV was in its infancy. No cable or satellite. Just 3 channels. No computers or wireless phones. All major things that are part of our daily lives that didn’t exist 77 years ago.

   I just got cortisone shots in my back for the 2nd time. For some reason I lose 5-6 lbs when I get these even though that’s not supposed to be one of the side effects. Medications have different effects on people.

   Hudson Hornets were record holder at one time in the class they were in at the drag strip. Those big tanks had really powerful engines in their time. One of my classmates in high school had one. I could sit in the back seat with my legs straight out and not touch the front seat. Massive seating room.
