Although I don’t agree with you about extra inning runner, I can understand why you don’t like that rule. Most people don’t. (BTW, the players like it very much and voted for it as part of contract.) However, why are you so mad the games move along without the batter stepping out every pitch to readjust his gloves, etc.? The game has not fundamentally changed at all with the pitch clock. It has made the games much more enjoyable to watch.

To qualifying for inclusion in the Olympics an event needs to have organized competition in 70 nations for men, 50 (I think) for women. Hard to believe surfing and breaking meet that criteria but they must. Interestingly, those qualifications numbers are way down from 40 years ago. Then, I believe it was two thirds of all nations must have organized competition, men or women. So you would be talking 130 nations, give or take. I’m not saying this is good or bad but it certainly has made staging the Olympics more costly to include all these different sports.

Aren’t people over thinking this? Rat saw the invite prior to panel one. Obviously, he does not want to go so he booked several appointments that day. Thus, when asked by Pig he can “act” disappointed he won’t be apply to attend.

I actually think this is kind of clever.

I’ve had to shut off my feeder due to cowbirds. Not that they kill the other birds but I’m not spending money feeding them while it keeps all the other beautiful birds away.

This arc has gone on for a month now. Way past due for closure. Still, somewhat interesting although zombie shows and movies bore the heck out of me.
