   My school would often start in late August, though in my senior year we started August 10. I still think it was way too early.

   When I was in school, there were a few times in which the fire alarm went off when it wasn’t supposed to, and we ended up having to stay outside until we were given the all-clear. I don’t think any of these instances lasted any longer than about 30 minutes, though.
