It’s just three minutes more in homework, most likely, assuming anything unfinished in class becomes homework (which is how it’s always been with me and how it should be.)

What if the friend is non binary though, Mr Wright, and goes by they/them pronouns? Got to be inclusive here.

This is a great argument…except that while the law is very restricive, it doesn’t “ban abortion.”

I’ve had it up to hear between comparisons between Texas and Taliban Afghanistan. Yes, being a woman in Texas is nothing to envy, but it compares absolutely nothing to being in Taliban Afghanistan as a woman. Unless and until you’ve done that, you have no right to draw comparisons between the two. There’s no question, Texas is a thousand times better. To all who applaud this comparison, you are demonstrating your ignorance and/or inconsideration regarding this issue.

So sad, yet true. Red states are slaying schoolchildren to prove a stupid political point (which is rooted in lies).

The person on the boat should turn the boat around immediately – both in the context of the cartoon, and in it’s real life context. Enough of an effort has been made to increase vaccination. The far-right who’ve refused the vaccine so far will continue to do so. Time to resort to force, as Biden is doing, or letting them spread COVID among themselves (only problem is they cause breakthrough cases with the vaccinated people who have done their duty through their stupidity).

Tbf, the GOP didn’t do anything fishy here…maybe they tried but if so they were unsuccessful…the audit actually expanded Biden’s lead in AZ.

I like the Capitol Police for stopping Jan. 6, but they’re doing something wrong if they still haven’t figured out who caused January 6. He’s not the ‘suspect,’ he’s the known perpatrator of January 6. There’s nothing to ‘suspect’ about it at this point. Trump is the reason January 6 happened. If nothing else he could have called off his minions before they broke into the capitol, or at the very least shut up about Mike Pence, but he derived some kind of sick pleasure from seeing his mob wreak havoc in his name. It’s like saying someone is the ‘suspect’ of a crime when there is a videtape of him committing the crime.

This is true. While MTG is totally deranged and is beyond help (she probably believes the Big Lie), McCarthy probably doesn’t, but doesn’t care enough about democracy to risk angering the MAGA base which will decide if he stays in office. If you notice earlier he was quiet on Liz Cheney too, but when the backlash began, he turned on her.

I don’t get how Calvin ate the cookies. If they were there in panel 3 Calvin didn’t take them in panel 3. And they should be there in panel 2. The explanation is that Hobbes ate them.
