Using Wikipedia as a reference is useless. What it says depends upon who updated it last, and who is most determined to have their group look good. Every wikipedia article must be examined on the basis of the references it is based upon, and the prejudices of the authors of those articles. Some groups are far more diligent than others about making sure ‘their’ references predominate. Yes, I have contributed my areas of expertise from time to time.

@YehudaReiss What are you talking about? 1400 Israeli dead on one side vs 15000 on the other side, mostly children. Are you as racist as Netanyahu?

Gorrell, you are so wrong on this one! People are protesting against Israel because it kills palestinians. Palestinians are not HAMAS!!! They are people who have been subject to an ongoing expulsion and genocide for decades, perpetrated by Israel upon the palestinian people. What Israel does there is genocide!!!!

Rosie, we agree with you more often than not, but on this occasion we must dissent. We have heard Christian preachers tell their flocks that the Jews must acquire all the territory ‘promised’ in the Torah, before the Second Coming can come. We regard this as propaganda from self-interested parties. The universalist god of the christians has little in common with the racist, genocidal god described in the Torah.
