I lost count a couple of years ago, but then there were 21 Little Free Libraries within walking distance of my home. The only books I still have on my shelves are the favorites I return to when I have middle-of-the night insomnia; the rest are recycled back to the LFLs.
As an inpatient wound care nurse, I noticed that the “traveling dialysis nurse”, who brought the dialysis equipment to the hospital, and I spent a lot of time with the same patients- dialysis patients have all kinds of co-morbidities, and their wounds don’t heal well. “Frank”, the dialysis nurse, and I spent so much time together, I started referring to him as my “work husband”.
