If you want a job, ask for work. If they don’t give you work, ask for bread. If they don’t give you work or bread, take bread.

I know I’ve seen this exact strip before, a very long time ago, maybe 20 years or more

  3. 16 days ago on Calvin and Hobbes

Yes but it’s not just any comic, it’s Calvin and Hobbes. Watterson routinely drew things he’d studied intently in real life, why would he forgo realism here?

One of my biggest comic strip pet peeves is depictions of melting snowmen. They don’t get squishy and slumpy like ice cream while the field around them remains covered. The snow around them is the first to go, with the snowman lingering for days afterwards, slowly shrinking from the outside in as the meltwater refreezes or evaporates.

Haha, casually threatening to destroy your family members’ property! Classic comedy!

Don’t make me tap the “you’re all birds” sign

  7. about 1 month ago on Pearls Before Swine

If you thought making up guys to get mad at was bad on Xwitter, imagine having a nationally syndicated newspaper comic

  8. about 1 month ago on The Dinette Set

I’m screaming and crying it should be illegal for comics to be this good

  9. about 2 months ago on Peanuts Begins

Disturbing implication that normal humans once walked the earth in this universe of bubble-headed abominations

    I don’t get it
