There’s something I like about self inserts. When written well they give me a look into the author’s though process and personality. Neurotica and this sequel comic give me this and a good laugh without going into cringy territories. As a person who’s been binging these comics I have to say keep up the good work and work at a steady pace Allison!
It may just be me but I’d probably still engage in a conversation with petunia and try to cheer her up instead of just checking out after hearing her rambling like Liz.
Ah the good ol’ cartoon logic where characters can change their size and shape for a gag. Petunia here looks like she’s consistently eaten every meal at mcdonalds for 2 years but will be her usual lanky build by the next comic. If only the human body actually worked like that then I wouldn’t care about eating out too much.
