   I’m with you. Vanilla ice cream with actual vanilla beans can be as premium as the best chocolate ice cream, in my opinion.

   I like kale tossed with olive oil and crisped in the oven. There are lots of kinds of kale, actually, and some are good raw but most are not, and some are like butter lettuce, and some are better thrown into a crock pot and boiled to death until they fall apart. Saying you don’t like kale is like saying you don’t like cheese. Too many kinds to be generalized. But, I don’t like mustard, tastes like hot dirt to me, so no collard greens or mustard greens for me, but some people prefer mustard taste. To each his own.

   I greatly missed brown tabby Zorro used to wake me up every morning by washing my face. It was not only effective, it also was a free exfoliation!

   Well, I saw the movie, yet I still didn’t get it. It was a long time ago, and, I guess it really didn’t impress me that much.

   I would bet that Opal is allergic to the preservative in the lens solution. I was, so I had to switch to the single use tiny little ampules. It got to be so expensive, I went back to glasses. Also, I hated using all that throw away plastic stuff.

   For those who aren’t familiar, a typhoon is like a hurricane, only in/from the Pacific. The Pacific, which was named for being considerately calmer than the Atlantic.

   This is why I live in the Pacific Northwest. Sure, we have a volcano, but it doesn’t erupt all that often, and besides, it is well monitored and gives plenty of warning. Our last typhoon was in 1962, and our last flood was in 1995. Pretty calm here, overall.

    A long time ago, I had a modem/channel changer thingie on top of the tv. I would come home and the tv would be on, on the French channel. Couldn’t figure it out. Then one day while I was home, I saw my Siamese, Valentine, on top of the box, turning in circles, and settling down finally. In the process, she managed to turn on the tv, run through the channels to the last one, which was the French channel, of course. It was warm up there, especially with the unit turned on. Mystery solved!
