   I know GIMP and I’m using it for a long time it is good software but most Youtube tutorials use Photoshop I meant by small user communities is that GIMP is not popular enough among professional artists and other artists like Pixar, DreamWorks, Disney…..etc

   Photoshop was released in 1990 and GIMP was released in 1995.
