Sure, but if those who have the power to actually take effective action cannot/will not, and have shown us that that is the case, I really don’t see what more could have been done by the rest of us.

Actually, the remaining “conservatives” are anything but conservative. They are extremist reactionaries. Good luck getting rid of them without resorting to violence, which seems to be the only thing they understand.

What more could have been done, pray tell? The election was actually rigged in the far right’s favor by decades of billionaire-funded propaganda targeted towards people who will only hear one side of the story – the one that they want told which causes these people to vote against their own interests. Also, let’s add in the Supreme Court justices which have been purchased by these billionaires who have made rulings that defy common sense and give the billionaires even more influence. The results of the those uninformed votes from the lowest political levels into the national level is what we are seeing right now. And, of course, anything negative caused by their destructive policies will be blamed on Democrats. It is already happening.

We are well beyond the tipping point. I don’t think that anything can be done at this point. In the meantime, the ONLY person and administration that could possibly have the power to do something about this appears to be asleep at the wheel.

Trump likely didn’t really care to govern; he just wanted to avoid prosecution.

Well, they seemed OK with the shadow government run by Trump the past 4 years, so I guess the shadow’s shadow is OK. By the way, they aren’t even officially in office, so why on earth should they have any influence over legislations. Oh, yeah, because they have been running the government the past 4 years. duh!

Just wait a few more months. Anything goes with the incoming administration.
