   As I write this, it’s 2023 … The Statue of Liberty has shown incredible strength and courage in the face corrupt 45’s one term presidency; TRUMP’S JAN 6 INSURRECTIONISTS’ SEDITIOUS COUP ATTEMPT TO STEAL AN ELECTION FAIRLY WON BY PRESIDENT BIDEN— election results upheld in over 60 Federal/State courtrooms in which Trump lost EVERY case, many thrown out for being “frivolous; with no merit”. Trump’s lawyers (several already in prison for lying), including Giuliani— who’s going to prison for helping Trump try to cheat with fake electors, frivolous laws suits re: Trump winning the election (again, over 60 Federal/ State judges either threw out trump’s lawsuits or ruled against him)…And the latest revised Indictment against Trump re: his Jan 6th Coup attempt…etc., etc., etc. …

   Believe me, 2006: Lady LIBERTY was defiled over and over by proxy of 45’s presidency, and his cult’s coup attempt on our Democracy/Republic, but time has shown again and again that SHE WILL NOT BACK DOWN: FREEDOM AND LIBERTY FOR ALL!

   FUZZBUCKET: You cannot logically compare Al Gore’s insistence on a Florida recount with what Trump planned beforehand (starting in Aug 2019) and executed (right after election results) as planned in 2019.

   You WILL recall that W. Bush was not slated to win (without Nadar in the mix it would have been a shoe-in for Gore).

   The 2000 election came down to Florida, where outdated paper ballots with “chads” were used. Where W. Bush’s brother Jeb was Governor. The PEOPLE of Florida demanded a recount as not only were the paper ballots with “chads” not able to be read accurately by machine, and mail in votes (including all military personnel from overseas or stationed in USA but out of State; disabled/ elderly folks, etc.) were not counted.

   Finally, recalling that W. and Jeb’s friend, Justice Kavanaugh (yes, THAT one: SCOTUS under Trump) decided to refuse a hand recount.

   Nepotism not enough? Favor repaid to Kavanaugh in full?

   But then there’s the most important point: Even though Kavanaugh refused to allow a hand recount, the ballots WERE recounted and Gore unequivocally WON Florida.

   Trump lied to his constituencies; he knew he lost and planned his recounting and chaos beforehand.

   Al Gore, and all Americans, had a right to know who won Florida— especially because the paper ballots with the chads were not and could not be counted properly, unless by hand.

   Florida has sunken deeper and deeper into a cesspool of dirty politics (worse than the usual) since then.
