   My first and only time at girl scout camp, I would have loved a P-A-P, our latrines were all the way up an unlit wooded hill. The showers weren’t much better – 4 unconnected walls & 4 shower heads – cold water only – we were all thankful for the lake.

   When we got our first telephone, only party lines were available – and no dial. You had to press the plunger three times I believe, and you would get the operator who would connect you to your party if her line was not busy.
