I still have the boxes that their cremains came in and their collars. We scattered the ashes in our planting beds and also a bit at a local nature center, where we visit out late kitties periodically.
And thankfully, this arc is pretty much over, and hopefully the trolls who enjoyed stirring up crap over a sad but sweet 30 year old story and/or using it for a political platform will crawl back under their bridges and disappear. Geez, there are other things to get off on here, people, including an ENTIRE political comic section.
OK, so let’s withdraw and allow Putin to take over Ukraine – and then move on to Poland, Finland, as many countries as he can get while we sit on our hands. And then when he takes over as much of Europe as he can and decides to escalate and it hits us (and it likely will in this type of scenario), we can all start screaming about how it should have been stopped before it got to us.
And, IIRC, when Lynn told him about the storyline, he threatened to off Snoopy if she did it. The whole idea of Farley dying really upset him – he didn’t seem to accept that unlike his characters, the Pattersons and their pets were aging in “real” comic time.
Exactly.
