Yes, there are add-ons for one’s audio system that can pipe in any exhaust sound you wish your vehicle was making. You can tune them to sound like anything from a monster truck to an F1 race car. They don’t seem to sell very well, probably because it keeps the sound mostly inside the vehicle and doesn’t do enough to irritate everyone around them.
I believe you’re right about how kids will acknowledge the poster. To me, it is more a matter of expelling the camel’s nose from under the tent flap. Allowed to do one thing, those who would force their beliefs on others will just move on to the next phase of indoctrination…and the Religious Right points at those fighting for their right to privacy in their bedrooms as “groomers”.
