   Many posting when Benson publishes a cartoon simply take the opposite point of view and then rarely are able to defend their position. Then cannot accept that Benson might just be making a valid point.

   It’s being stupid in that they let their ideological point of view be the basis of their “facts”.

   Nothing worse than being dumb and lazy. Now go back and click on the Davidson Current link and read about it. Especially the part where it notes “Its flow is adjacent to the California Current, but it flows north rather than south and hugs the coastline. The current is active year-round at 650 feet (200 meters) below sea level, but surfaces during the winter months, generally from mid-November through mid-February.”

   Year round. Not occasionally. And it’s still a bit off the coast. It’s the wind that controls the floating poop as I noted.

   And just another misrepresentation of what’s going on. Some want separate appropriation bills, not some monster bucket of money that has a lot of waste included and is usually followed up a week later for special spending bill that suddenly popped up.

   Want to fund Ukraine? Put a number in a bill and vote on it. One page should do it. Break the number down by humanitarian, military, and corruption categories.

   Let’s see where everyone stands.

   Wind is a major factor on coastal currents for the surface of the water column. But don’t bother to look it up. You might learn something. According to NOAA, "Patterns of surface currents are determined by wind direction, Coriolis forces from the Earth’s rotation, and the position of land forms that interact with the currents. "

   And surface currents is where the poop floats.

   OMG. Per Google!!! Well, that knowledge is worthless without a bit of common sense. That California current runs off shore. Way off shore where the poop don’t go.

   But since you only rely on the great and might Google, try and Google the Davidson Current. It’s a coastal current counter to the California Current – and it flows south to north from Baja to Oregon.

   And that be where the poop goes.

   Why make laws that the President ignores when he’s responsible for implementing them. Even those that the majority of Americans are behind.

   The problem does not lie with the teachers. It’s the school boards and administration that poisons the work environment. Kids know they can get away with most any action and will have minimal consequences. Used to have alternative schools to house the most disruptive and violent students. Not many ended up educated there but those in the regular school had much better results.

   Now all students in public schools are approaching equity. None of them will get educated in the end. Assuming they survive.

    Wow. Stupid beyond belief. You’re claiming that during a strong southwest wind, the waves come in from the northwest. And the current only flows south at all level of the water column all the time.

    You need to go swimming just north of the border.
