Girls around here pay 500.00 to 800.00 for a prom dress . To see them with a date in a flashy tie dyed looking blazer or one that looks like splattered paint …yuck
Yes! Because it was a sign of things to come. No respect for tradition, lack of values. Faces stuck in phones and video games not caring about the world around them.
I worked at a mens clohing store. By 2019 guys had stopped wearing tuxedos to the prom and opting for blazers wirh strange designs. Being the dinosaur that I am, I was mortified. Arlo, please frame that tux.
I don’t think people will be sending letters, postcards, Christmas cards, etc. much anymore as the cost just went up to 73 cents per stamp. I think they were 5 cents when I was a baby.
My cabin is 650 square feet. The kitchen is not a big attraction. The refrigerator holds about 2 6 packs of soda. We eat out.
