I agree. Jonah should step up and get a good job and a nice girlfriend who adores Shannon and let them get a nice life together. Than, Brad & Toni can have a baby and visit with Jonah’s family as well as Brad’s parents and Aunt Luann.
Sharing the fact that she was taking the pregnancy test was TMI, even for a good friend. Although, my coworker (female) knew before my husband did. Back in 1986, the home pregnancy test had to sit for a few hours before reading the result. There would be 2 test tubes and the urine/reagent had to sit undisturbed for those 2 hours. Under the tubes was a mirror, so you could read the result without disturbing the tubes. A ring formed meant you were pregnant. I took the test to work with me and let it sit in a back room that was off of our work space (we worked in a clean room with only 3-4 people) So, that’s how my coworker found out before my husband (we’d been trying for several months)
Men are the only ones capable “firing blanks”, biologically speaking. Women can have far too many other issues with cycle and hormones- far far more complicated.
The link provided yesterday was omitted by the time I read the comic. BCN is certainly a popular comic. I have been reading comics since I was about 7. I was a huge fan of Peanuts and had a few books of comics by Charles Schulz. People enjoy reading classic comics they grew up with, but I’m willing to see less of them to showcase the talent of more recent years. Why let female comics go when their readership is good…for TEN years! Meanwhile, “Gods Hands” is the worse comic EVER IMHO. Punchlines are dull, sometimes contain expletives and are so poorly drawn, a 6 year old could do it better.
My cat enjoys hours of fun with one of those tease toys on a pole from the dollar store and packing paper! (wrapping paper works, too!) He loves the sound of the paper crinkling and chasing after the toy under and around the paper. Don’t spend a lot of money on cat toys!!!
My grandmother, mother & I were all big film buffs. We would refer to our favorite actors as “boyfriends”! Grandma’s was John Wayne, mom’s was Clark Gable and mine, Gabriel Byrne (who I actually had the pleasure of meeting once after seeing him in a play in NYC)
Good morning! Glad Louie is featured today.
