Timeline: late 70s. My mother being almost totally gray by her 50s (early gray runs in her family). Bought a DIY dye product for home use. Turned her hair blue, like an SOS steel wool pad. Took a month to fade out. several years later, tried another product a few years later. This time hair was very black— with a green sheeny highlight. Early hair dyes…sheesh
there was one wrench that always disappeared from any set we owned; it was either 5/8 or 5/16" -which ever one that fit Schwinn bicycle wheels. Change tire, put wrench down not away…
