We didn’t do that part any way but the bride got really upset over it and walked out. They sat in their car out front for 30 minutes and then they came back in and he stated on the minimum. I looked at her and she shook her head yes. My clerk and I wondered how long that marriage would last. Had another couple-young, in their late teens come in with the bride’s mother. I performed the ceremony, they left. The next morning the mother called and wanted me to tear up the certificate because the groom took off 30 minutes after the ceremony. I told her once I “pronounce” they were married, she had to get a divorce or annulment. There were many stories like this in my 5 years doing it.
I agree. And the ones who wants to ban abortions also wants to ban contraceptives. Guess those on the right wants to force you to have babies whether you want to or not. The way you get a male to support abortions, make a law where they must pay $2000 a month support for each child. That seems to be the problem you have guys get ladies pregnant then pay $25 a month for support. A dog can’t live on $25 a month let a lone a kid. By making a male pay a livable child support you can bet they’ll change their minds.
DeJoy is closing the Reno mail processing center which serves for all the mail in Northern Nevada and moving it to Sacramento. I-80 the main route to Sac is closed many times during winter due to snow. Instead of getting our mail in two days, now it will be 4-5 days. In one zip code the master key to the cluster boxes was stolen over a year ago and they can’t even get permission to replace the locks. Mail is stolen daily. Fortunately for me, I have all my bills come via email and only junk mail delivered. I do have USPS notification so if something important shows up I can get it. DeJoy is doing what he can to destroy the USPS. Thanks Trump for another F**kup.
