OK, gotta comment. I don’t have children (didn’t trust I had the patience for the 24/7 duty), but I worked with children my entire career, as in actively engaging in activity with them, not sitting in an office and talking. I often got the opinion that I couldn’t know anything about children because I’m not a mother. For receptive ears, I’d tell the parent I’m an expert on children (in the aggregate), but they were the expert on their child. And ideally between the two areas of expertise, we could figure a few things out.
Yep, great screening device. If the number’s not in my contacts, then can leave a voicemail. Even better than the old cassette tape answering machine because we had to listen to it to screen the calls. Except for the friend that left a message saying he knew we were there because he could hear us breathing. :-D
Depends on the program. For many, the CC is pretty accurate. Although I will say the mistakes provide good amusement. My latest favorite is “Siouxsie” for a woman’s name.
My husband does that to me in stores when I almost bump into people. He insists he saved my life.
