Most of the time conflict, conflict really is that easy. This case is somewhat different because one group wants to totally annihilate the other. Hamas will not stop their violence as long as Israel exists as a country. There are some moral areas where compromise cannot solve the issue any more than compromise would have been a tenable solution to Nazis in World War II.
I’ll tell you this. Hostages are still taken, and terrorists still want to wipe out all of Israel. I don’t like the idea of civilians dying, but I like the idea of Hamas building back up and committing another attack against targeted civilians a lot less.
Today, being an extremist can mean anything from holding a firm ideological view and openly speaking about it to wanting to burn down buildings. There does seem to be a growing pro burning buildings down crowd, but that could just be perception based on how news carries
Who talks about killing Democrats. This sounds like fear mongering. The right doors it too, afraid that the left has some diabolical plan to kill conservatives. No one I know take that way. Both sides need to grow up a little.
