Can you imagine how the typical department store Santa would react if Sterling was sitting on his lap and asked for someone else’s soul? Bet that’s not covered in “Santa School”.

That may not be correct. Barred Owls usually use the traditional call or slight variations thereof but they also have some pretty strange vocalizations, almost ape like.

In our area (Mid-north Indiana), the Barred Owl is pushing out the larger Great Horned Owl. The Barred Owl is an aggressive bird, even for a raptor.

Given the density of the surrounding leaves, the clear area where he laid after the fall and the leaves drifting down, I believe that he landed in a pile of leaves which helped break his fall and scattering them both around him and into the air above him.

Don’t give up quite yet. There is a much better chance that Trump will drop dead or have to leave office due to dementia before his term expires.

We didn’t celebrate Halloween either. My brother and I patrolled the neighborhood to watch out for vandalism. Our neighbors felt so bad about it that they delivered all their left-over candy to our house. We made out pretty well.

I knew a guy who always bought Necco Wafers. When I asked him why he bought such a nasty candy, he said that he ate them because no one ever asked him to share them with him. He was right about that.

I was diagnosed as diabetic about 3 years ago. Was hospitalized with an A1C of 13+ (also had pneumonia and sepsis). I stuck to the prescribed diet and took my meds. The end result was an A1C of 5.4 and I lost about 120 lbs. I too am afraid of amputations because I know 2 people who did not deal with their diabetes. 1 died and the other lost a leg before dying. Also have MS, heart arrhythmia and sleep apnea but am currently doing well. None of these illnesses keep me from doing what I want to do. Take good care of yourself, follow Doctor’s orders and you too can maximize your lifestyle. Nobody gets out alive but you can delay your departure.
When I was pretty young, I asked for an electric wok. Still using it at 68 years old. (Me, not the wok).
