   Yes! I love his thoughts- although they are depressing! I do find it interesting that the other animal characters in the strip don’t have thought bubbles. I can’t even imagine the hilarious thoughts Spisty would have! Though…he doesn’t seem like a dog that would have many, haha!!

   Yes, I agree! I’d love to see characters like Gina and Nate’s immediate family again within the arcs; I feel here lately, it’s been featuring the same few characters

   Never would’ve thought Sherman would’ve appeared today, haha! Glad to see him and Dee Dee again!

   Fascinating arc this week! The highlight was the tackle hug from Daphne; too cute! I am surprised that strip wasn’t the last one this week, with Thrusday being the strip for next Monday. The hug from her seems like a strip LP would’ve wanted to end the arc with- since it was such a sweet one!

   Sure, that is valid! Often the setting is “later that day…” I just meant the jokes are unique/unpredictable each day- which I love!

   I respect that! I think what I meant (albeit poorly communicated) is that, as comments point out, the jokes are different/have more variety than usual imo. In example, when SPG is in an arc, we usually expect every joke to center/involve him each day- like the beach arc. When this arc started, I thought the “joke” for the week would be Nate reading a positive quote everyday day and it not proving true for him/him complaining about it. It’s turned into a fairly unpredictable arc for me; genuinely can’t say what tomorrow will be like- and I love that!

   Wow, this arc has taken so many twists and turns- and has been the least consecutive arc I’ve seen in recent years! Most arcs I’ve seen stay and hold true to an overall “topic”- but this one hasn’t! It started out as a “positive quotes” arc, then turned into focusing on Daphne and Nate, and now has begun focusing on Nate’s interactions with others in the school with no sign of Daphne. Very interesting! I like the change; it keeps us on our toes, prevents boredom, and helps it stay fresh! Can’t wait to see the theme tomorrow!

   Thanks! I’m sure he will, BN isn’t a special interest for him the way it is me, but he still really enjoys it!
