The esteem for which judges have been held throughout history is based on dignity and honor. This is why we trust them and give them so much power. A Supreme Court Justice is appointed for life due to the immensity of that power. Of course they are permitted to vote, but they are above politics. They demonstrate this by rejecting all forms of partisanship. That any conman can run for office is something we’ve had since the beginning and accept. That we see it in the Supreme Court is a disgrace. This is just another blemish on their integrity. They should be admonished by the people. They should be ashamed of what they have become.

I know. I just couldn’t resist the absurdity of comparing University commencements with political rallies. Otherwise, Trump supporters always take the opportunity to travel to see him speak. And that is another sign of it being a cult. That absolute bull with which the trolls use to extol up Trump is a testament in itself.

Yes, it looks as though the insurrectionists may get off lightly. And I can understand why the Justices would be worried that they might get stormed like Congress. But it is a sad state of affairs.

I’m sure some did. It’s human nature for some people to get over excited in their righteousness. A person of your age should remember the numerous times it happened to conservative over the latter half of the 20th Century. As for the school, “The sisters of Mount St. Scholastica do not believe that Harrison Butker’s comments in his 2024 Benedictine College commencement address represent the Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts college that our founders envisioned and in which we have been so invested,”. But what do they know about Catholicism? They’re just a bunch of unfulfilled women.

Trump draws a crowd of 100,000 in New Jersey? What commencement was that?

Women have been property for thousands of years. They still are for some people and that is the bottom line. The only troubling part is the rhetoric in which some try to dress it. As for his be unapologetic about your masculinity. That ambiguous sentiment usually comes from insecure men or men who need props to prove themselves. But this is coming from a kicker who sees little field time and is constantly surrounded by the biggest strongest athlete in the country.

I suppose some did. Such egregious comments are difficult to even hear, let alone accept. In the end, you either believe women are inferior or you don’t

My knowledge of the history of the Supreme Court is too poor to know if we have had such a court before, but I find the fact that the last three Justices blatantly lied during their confirmation hearings mark them as untrustworthy. Added to that is Justice Thomas whose lack of scruples is reprehensible. He has declared that the court should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents. While he lacked the courage to say it, the term “all” includes Loving v. Virginia. This is a man that believes he has no right to have married his wife. This is a man who views his marriage is such a dehumanizing way, he would move to make it illegal. And make no mistake, it is dehumanizing. He has no problem with a state viewing him as less human that a white person. A person that can view themselves in that way can remove the humanity from anything. That is despicable. (my apologies to Daffy Duck)

1BlackLivesMatter, He claimed it is a Soros-appointed prosecutor. That is just another conspiracy to explain another of Trump’s problems. And he makes insults constantly.

Oh, gee, one sovereign nation invaded another sovereign nation. It is not Bidens war. He in no way could prevent a way that had been years in the making. And support for the war is the business of congress. Otherwise, there have been riots in the US since the founding of the nation. On Jan. 6th, an attempt was made to stop the legal and peaceful transfer of power. No transfer of power means dictatorship. No other riot has ever done anything close to that. It was a violent uprising against an authority or government. That is the definition of insurrection. As for the shower. Practically every beach house in Delaware, including Biden’s, has an outdoor shower where you get naked and rinse all the sand off. Children often need help. Families often rush through the showering process together when they stay a little late at the beach and have dinner plans. That too is a beach custom, eating out. Now all you’ve done is deflect. And in this case, you take a statement that clearly does not say anything happened and you compare it to a man who twice talked about his attraction to his daughter. Like most Trump supporters, reality went with the values you used to champion. Biden’s war? Didn’t you know it was planned and launched by Soros and his evil empire? I have no idea which court ruling you are referencing.
