Agreed. When it was a simple story about two boys it was a lot more entertaining. Watterson mentioned that trying to expand the world of Calvin and Hobbes early on was a bad idea, and here Bondia is doing something similar by adding these characters that don’t have a lot of personality and become exhausting quickly. Honestly I’m hoping the strip will shift back to its original self.
