Remember that Hammie has games across the entire year. Zoe has school plays every once in a couple of months, I’m assuming.

I understand what Hammie did was wrong, but the commentors are being WAY too harsh here.

    Do those explain anything?

It appears we have something in common.

Who? Darryl and Wanda or the Brewers?

True, but we need some variety.

    Plus, I miss the Brewers.

I’m mostly referring to the current strips. She’s funnier in the classic strips.

The “spitball arc” (Jan 15-19, 2024) was the worst one, and it’s where Hammie torture really shines. It represents the godawful trope that is “kid gets framed for something they didn’t do”.

There are multiple strips where Wanda physically abuses Darryl.

I’ve read your comments on Baby Blues, and I don’t care WHAT you say, Zoe’s a jerk. Always was, and always has been. Multiple strips and arcs show her being a spoiled brat, blackmailing Hammie, tattling on others, I could go on.

The Special Education arc was an exception. It had potential and interesting characters, plus we got some Kevin development.

Miles sucked in that arc tho.

Crabgrass was MEANT to be a realistic, though somewhat cartoonish strip. Always was, and always has been. It was like that since the first 4 years of the strip.
