At The Hop really about the Easter Bunny, right?

Early Sunday morning, I found an egg inside my shoe

How that sucker got there, I haven’t got a clue

    Then I saw something furry

    Run and jump and scurry

Must have been the Easter Bunny going on his way

But every girl’s crazy ’bout a sharp dressed man.

About as much as a stein, quite a bit less than a Steinway.

A worthwhile effort. I found I was using the wrong term for having eyes of different colors.

  5. about 16 hours ago on Reality Check

Suppose. Was it a mathematician or an engineer that came up with RPN?

  6. about 16 hours ago on Reality Check

Indeed, I had to agree with that one once my fixation with parentheses wore off.

  7. about 16 hours ago on Reality Check

Not just Python. Lots of languages.

  8. about 21 hours ago on Reality Check

Sure, but you usually expect to see some operation inside the parentheses. You’d expect 2(x+1) or 2(2+1) in this case. If you meant to say 2 times 3, how would you usually write it?

We must insist that the cartoonist do all such things using RPN going forward.

  9. about 23 hours ago on Reality Check

So you read it as do the division of 6 squared first, multiply by 3, and then add 4. Fair enough, as I say, the 2(3) notation is weird. If it were written as 2*3 then clearly you are correct. Exponentiation then multiplication and division left to right.

    Sneakered preacher.
