   I’ve been voting Libertarian since 1980, and EVERY SINGLE YEAR Reps and Dems say “this time, the election is too important!”

   Nonsense. That’s fear mongering by the two large parties to prevent any real competition. And the people who say it will just never vote third party, no matter who the candidates are.
