Yoda is a perfect name for a puppy. The truly are our teachers, they help us be better humans.

There no such thing as poorly trained dog, only poorly trained and undisciplined owners/guardians. It takes time, attention, and lots of love to train dogs. Clearly and sadly, the gov made the CHOICE not to provide her dog with any of those things. If training dogs well was easy everyone would do it. The gov took the easy way out and blamed the dog rather than taking responsibility for her failure to do the work. The whole story is heartbreaking, the horrible end for pet and human being who is unable to be self reflective and accountable.

Sadly, we need look no further than how the Texas AG case was handled by Republicans to see the fate of Justice Thomas. Hence, I will continue to pray and VOTE for political leaders with a moral backbone and belief in the rule law [few as they may be].

I almost feel sorry for the Bush Republican staffers who were thrown under the bus for being responsible citizens and blowing the whistle on such flagrant corruption. They have been ostracized by their peers and “RINOs” all for simply attempting to do the morally right thing and protect the rule of law. They deserved better. I can’t wait to see one of their op-eds or books reflecting on this whole sordid and deeply saddening affair. I am reminded that healthy democracy can only exist when the majority of the participants support the rule of law and the shared morals of a civil society.

Good question. It feels like there is an evolutionary race between those who embrace a world filled with ambiguity and complexity, and those who seek a world that seen as binary and simple.

Is it really a stretch? It would be unethical for me to not to voice dissent if a fellow board member broke the law or so clearly crossed the line of ethical standards. It appears they are being complicit or at a minimum enabling, both of which are unethical for role such as the a supreme court justice. That said, I believe there is more to their “sign off” than what makes the news. I can only hope they are having the honest and confrontational conversations in chambers. Sadly, we may never know what is really being shared between those individuals.
