Mid 50s for today with a prediction of 60 degrees later in the week without a speck of snow on the ground here in north-central Minnesota. In Freekin February! Can’t imagine how warm it would be if there were such a thing as global warming/S
I would question you’re use of the word “adopted.” The fact is that at that time, a little over 50% of the General Assembly of the United Nations, under intense pressure from the United States, PASSED a resolution to partition Palestine into two states, one arab and one Jewish, A quarter voted against it and 20 percent abstained. What is important here is that Resolution 181 was only a PROPOSAL, which could have no effect unless approved by the Security Council. This proposal never went before the Security Council for consideration, so, in effect, the partition plan was vitiated, or made invalid. What happened then was that while debating a US proposal to put the whole of Palestine under UN trusteeship, Israel declared itself to be in existence. The rest, as they say, is history.
More hasbarist nonsense!
