I have lived in PG&E territory most of my 72 years. I have watched the company try their best to make money and basically to hell with customers, not the whole company, the workers go above and beyond at times. Especially when there is an emergency. I have seen some heroic work by the rank and file workers. But management has been in the way of real progress. They have fought solar and wind with a vengeance. I can’t say enough about the company. Also the California commission in charge of PG&E is corrupt and doing a very poor job of looking out for the customers. But now I am one of their worst customers as I use very little of their overpriced electricity and gas. My only revenge. Of course they are considering a minimum charge for being on the grid. And getting off the grid is almost impossible.

Seems every time we have a mass shooting gun sales go UP. Especially semi automatic weapons. But mass shootings have become so common in the USA that it is hard to see the effect anymore. That is a tragedy.

Pot tends make people mellow and happy. The House Republican fringe are just crazy and not at all lazy.

Geothermal is ultimately nuclear, fission near earth’s core. Also nuclear about 93 million miles away, fusion.

I consider both to be very acceptable. About the right distance away from nuclear power. I loved our Geiger counters when I was in science class. Then they were not available anymore. I wonder why?

Saw the bones in my feet in a x ray box when I was very young. It was going to solve every problem. Then they figured out it was not always our friend.

But Putin seems to not have learned any lessons from the past. Except what he learned on the wrong side of the Iron Wall. Putin= oil. Putin=the past=GOP.

Is he even bigger/fatter in 2022 than 2016? Might be a diet situation. Or exercise? Could not be old age catching up to him, that might include senility or mental dissociation.

I still have a right and a left, thank God. I will use them to vote against the GOP and Trump.

I prefer less evil in this world.

The real fun for these knuckleheads was when you could fire several rounds at people without reloading. Did not particularly matter which party got shot, just so somebody got shot. Usually black or brown and often democrats. They no longer had to find a rope and a tree.Such progress for the republican party.

How will they survive if all the smart people move away?

Texting will be the death of modern English which will then become late modern English, which will be followed by encyclopedia’s of “texting English” which will become a mash up of modern languages from around the world. It will no longer become intelligible by modern scholars who will use another, now somewhat archaic form of English mixed with Latin, Ancient Greek and Egyptian, mixed with Mandarin.Just a guess.
