I've worked for just over 30 years with a Christian drama ministry based out of Camarillo, California. With this company, I have worked in several countries in Europe as well. I love it. In addition to comics, I also like to read cozy mysteries, historical fiction, and other fun stuff.

What a snot! Ok, yeah, well, he is a cat after all. You’ve captured his personality so well. Love it! Thanks for the laugh.

And the doggie answers “yeah, it sure does. Why don’t you join in?”

Thanks for the laugh. Love it!

The cheer squad used to use megaphones to actually lead the crowd in cheers at high school football games. Now “cheer squad” is used to designate a dance team, it seems, that performs choreographed routines. No megaphones needed.

Yeah, it’s up to us to interpret what we see our furry friends communicating. Some of them are easier to read. And we humans can still get it wrong. We love them as best we can.

Ours turn their heads to the side when they see a phone aimed at them. I think someone used to take photos with a blinding flash, and now they anticipate the light and look away. Those flashes are bright, especially in light that’s low enough to need one.

Honestly, my friend’s first dog, Gili, did treat the second dog, Uli, like she was her own. Gili kept Uli in line, as dogs will do, and did not like it when others tried to spend more time with Uli. I thought Gili wanted equal time and pets and cuddles and all, but no. She just wanted her dog back, please.

I had a couple of friends who both worked long days and had a lonely little doggie at home. So, they said they were getting her a pet to keep her company.

Some of their other friends gave them so much grief over this that they finally said “We’re getting a second dog. Ok?” Oh. Well, that was certainly understandable and acceptable to them. (sigh) Both doggies got along just fine.

We don’t always like what’s best for us. Think about two-year-olds and bedtime or naptime. They still need them.
