Just as Americans come to grips with the dangers of secondhand smoke, a new menace looms- (Man: Third hand smoke is killing thousands of Americans a year!) Typically, we have trouble understanding the concept... (Woman: You left your smoky shirt from the bar next to my clean house unbelievable! Are you trying to kill me?) (Man: Are you insane or just nuts!) ...and the tobacco industry is always there to stonewall. (Man: There is no objective evidence to link exposure to non-smokers to cancer.) The debate rages, decimating social stability and dividing families. (If you don't love me enough to stop dragging your nicotine contaminated carcass, at least think of the children!) (Woman: We don't have kids you, idiot!) (Man: Because your thirdhand smoking is killing them!) Finally, Congress acts, and the nation is saved from Civil War!) (Bill Clinton: The bill I just signed will fight the scourage of thirdhand smoke while protecting tobacco industry jobs- by leaving out inconvenient enforcement mechanisms.) Unfortunately yet another threat lurks in the shadows... (Man: Sally was just an innocent 39 years old until her brother in law's boss' neighbor took up smoking. Within weeks she was dead- the victim of fourth hand smoke!
