Many years ago, while visiting my grandmother’s cottage on Prince Edward Island, CA, the weather forecaster on the local radio station said the weather would be all sunshine and perfect for the beach. Well, later that day, a mini-twister (tornado) touched down just outside of the capital, Charlottetown. It ripped up a small swath of trees (mainly birches) before dying out. For the next week or so, when going his forecast, the weatherman always ended his upbeat/sunshiney forecast with “however, there’s a possibility of high winds.”
