Transcript:
Juliette stands by her mailbox and reads a card. She thinks: "I haven't heard from these people in years...Why are they sending an anniversary card!?... ...They mustn't have heard about the divorce." Juliette sits down by the mailbox and thinks: "Oh, joy!...Now I'm flashing back!...To all the recrimination and lawyer's fees...The stifling deluge of doubt and failure. The anger, the pangs of utter worthlessness..." Juliette sulks on the grass. Juliette walks away and thinks: "I must write back and thank them."
